PHYTOPHTHORA

It has come to our attention that a number of trees on the Estate are suffering a fungal infection called Phytophthora.

The Food & Environment Research Agency (Fera) has produced a leaflet called "Phytophthora – Don't let it destroy our environment". To download it please click here

Welcome

Welcome to our all new website. The site has been developed to keep you informed about the activities in and around Farnley Tyas and to get feedback from you about what is going on.

Farnley Tyas Development

We have already had a number of villagers asking to put their names down for houses that may be built in the future. May I ask that anyone who may consider buying a property, please write to me so I can put the villagers to the top of the list. Please let me know what type of property you are looking for.

I should also like to know if any of you, or any of your children who may have moved out of, or considering moving out of the village, would be interested in affordable housing, either to rent or "shared equity". If there is a need, I shall instruct the developer to make this provision for the village.
